I am posting this for the Saturday Snapshot meme hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books.
Here is a new mode of transportation in London for Olympics and beyond. I took these pictures in July 2012 shortly after Cable Car was open for public.
It has been great watching the Olympics on TV - London has done itself proud. Maybe you can help my husband & I work out why they're using the little remote control cars in the middle of the atletics arena? We love them scooting around in the background of many of the images, but just can't work out their purpose????? Four Seasons
Hi Thanks for stopping by! I wondered the purpose of the remote control cars too! I think theu are used to retrieve javelins, discuses etc from the field.
Interesting shots. I hadn't seen this new cable car, it looks great. Brona- I'd noticed those little cars too- they're used for transporting javelins and discuses. Pretty cool.

Ahh I wish I was in London watching the Olympics, or just being around the atmosphere, great photos!
