Vintage Mystery Reading Challenge 2012

Happy New year. It's time to sign-up for Challenges for this New Year. I am signing up for the Vintage Mystery Reading Challenge 2012 hosted by Bev @ My Readers Block. I love mysteries both vintage and contemporary so this is the right challenge for me. I enjoyed reading books for this challenge in 2011. And hope to do so again. I am committing to reading two categories, that is sixteen vintage mysteries in total. I will probably read more than that. My first theme is
London Mystery Tour
1. The Albert Gate Mystery by Louis Tracy
2. The Charing Cross Mystery by J S Fletcher
3. The Doctor of Pimlico by William le Queux
4. Four-Fifty from Paddington by Agatha Christie
5. The Hampstead Mystery by Arthur J Rees
6. The Middle Temple Mystery by J S Fletcher
7. The Sorceress of Strand by L T Meade
8. The Stretton Street Affair by William le Queux
I am reading books with a London place name in the Title. The story may not necessarily take place in London. But probably it will. This list is tentative. I may pick up a more interesting book with this theme or drop one that is very boring. Other books that fit in with my theme are
Piccadilly Puzzle by Fergus Hume
Lord Edgware Dies by Agatha Christie
Sleuth of St. James Square by Melville Davisson Post
The Silent House in Pimlico by Fergus Hume
The Notting Hill Mystery by Charles Felix
12.30 from Croydon by Freeman Will Crofts
The Borough Treasurer by J S Fletcher
Poison in Kensington by Charles Kingston
Murder in Piccadilly by Charles Kingston
And of course anything with Scotland Yard in the title.
I am not sure about the second theme. I will probably do pre-1910s or dangerous beasts.

Welcome back to the Challenge! I love your theme of London places. And so many new-to-me titles. Can't wait to hear what you think of them. Happy New Year!
