This week I am posting from Perfect People by Peter James.
Friday Book Beginnings is a weekly meme where we share the opening line of our current read. Book Beginnings is hosted by the Rose City Reader.
Late on an April afternoon, thirty nautical miles east of Cape Cod, a wind-blown young couple with luggage and worried faces are standing on the helicopter deck of a converted cruise liner, gripping the handrail.
Friday 56 hosted @ Freda's Voice is a weekly Meme where we share an interesting snippet from page 56 of our current book.
Sometimes I have the sense he is contemptuous of ordinary human emotions. That he feels we should be above these and on some higher plane.
That he has some kind of hidden agenda.

Very intriguing...now I'm wondering about these characters. I'll be watching for the review.
Here's MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
Hmmm. Wonder what his hidden agenda is?
Here's my Friday Memes.
I'm curious what they're so worried about?
Here's my Book Beginnings Post.
Lots of questions raised in this beginning. What was the cruise liner converted to and why? Why is the couple worried and where are they going? Are they escaping something? I'd keep reading to find out more.
Here's mine.
Interesting 56, but even more interesting title.... can there even be perfect people? I think not.
...is this a thriller? The cover is interesting.
Very interesting. I, too, love the book cover.
people who think they are perfect probably think waaay to highly of themselves in the first place!
Good beginnging, thanks for sharing and the visit!
