Fall into Reading 2012 Challenge Complete

I participated in the Fall into Reading 2012 challenge from September 22-December 21 hosted by Katrina at callapidder days

Vintage Mystery Reading Challenge 2012 Complete

I was hoping to read 16 vintage mysteries this year. I went on to read 28 mysteries ranging from the earliest published in 1862 to 1953 in three categories London Mystery Tour, Golden Age Girls and Cherchez l'homme.

Getting Lost in a Comfortable Book Challenge Complete

I selected these books because it looks like everybody has read The Book Thief, I wanted to read it and find out what it is all about. I was bowled over by the Lord of the Rings when I read it a few years ago. I wanted to read something else by J R R Tolkien to see if can create the same magic for me again. I haven't read anything by Georgette Heyer, I wanted to try this. Daughter of Time and North and South sound interesting. Most of all, all these books were available in our local library. The book I enjoyed most was the Hobbit.
